Master Data of banks of State Treasuries pertaining to Freedom Fighter Pensioners
Data Reconciliation in respect of Freedom-Fighters has been a big problem since past several years. For streamlining the procedure of reconciliation of pension payment on one to one basis, a bank wise broadsheet of pensioners is required to be prepared having details of each and every pensioners i.e., Name of the pensioner, PPO No., Basic Pension and total amount paid during the month. FFR Division has now provided a detailed (Bank/Pensioner wise) list of freedom fighter pensioners as on 01,01.2014 for reconciling and verifying the monthly payments made by banks & State Treasuries. The master list provided by the FFR Division is based on the feedback provided by the banks itself. Therefore the relevant detailed list is being forwarded in CD to all CPPC with the advise to reconcile their Database & to make payment accordingly. They are also advised to book the expenditure of Freedom- Fighter Pension under Category ‘G’ and issue separate Scrolls of Category `G’ and send it separately to RBI, so that Expenditure may be booked properly & Reconciliation of Expenditure may be done with reference to the Scroll & Put- Through Statement submitted by R.B.I. Twelve digit PPO Number of Freedom- Fighter Category has been allotted to the Pensioner of other Category the same may be verified from the original PPO & the matter should be taken up with CPAO promptly for further necessary action. All CPPC will provide reconciled Master Data maintained by them to NIC, CPAO electronically to cpao.masterdata@gmail.com with an endorsement to Sr. A.O. (Tech) to vijay.cpao@gmail.com , So that a reconciliation module can be developed by CPAO.
