Eyewatch for the veterans

As 2012-13 is declared as the ‘Year of the Veterans’ the Army Chief, Gen VK Singh, PVSM, AVSM, YSM launched the ‘Eyewatch mobile phone application’ for India’s ex-servicemen and their families. This gives an ‘emergency alert service’ free of cost to ex-servicemen. He congratulated the ‘eyewatch’ team for their product and the response from the Veterans was enormous at the Veterans Mela in Gurgaon on March 31, 2012. This product has also been offered free to the BSF by the producers of ‘Eyewatch’. All senior BSF officers who witnessed a demonstration on ‘Eyewatch’ at BSF Headquarters in Delhi, expressed a lot of enthusiasm for the product, which awaits formal induction.
