Exercise TOPCHI, a demonstration of the Indian Artillery fire power, was organised for the visiting officers of Defence Services Staff College, Wellington, Technical Staff Officers Course, Pune and a Nepalese Army Delegation led by Brigadier General Ram Krishna Adhikari at the School of Artillery, Devlali, on 03 January 2011. The entire range of guns, from the indigenous 120 mm Mortar, 105 mm Indian Field Gun, 105 mm Light Field Gun to the 155 mm FH 77B Bofors and 122 mm Multibarrel Rocket Launcher GRAD BM 21 demonstrated accuracy, consistency and awesome destructive fire power, depicting simultaneous engagement by a number of guns. The spectators included officers from friendly foreign countries and civilian dignitaries. New generation surveillance and target acquisition equipments like the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and Surveillance and Weapon Locating Radars were also on display.
