Citizen For Forces (C4F), a team of youngsters working towards awareness on significance of Armed Forces, organised a seminar on 47th anniversary of “Asal Uttar” (1965 Indo-Pak War) on September 16, 2012 at New Delhi.
Distinguished speakers at the seminar were Lt Gen Raj Kadyan PVSM, AVSM, VSM, Col Anil Kaul VrC, Dr Agnishekhar (convener, Panun Kashmir), Maj Gen G D Bakshi VSM SM, Maj Gen Satbir Singh SM, Lt Gen S K Bahari PVSM, Advocate Meenakshi Lekhi, Advocate O P Wadhwa and Mr. Madhur Sharma (Brother of Matyr Major Mohit Sharma).
The event started with “Deep- Prajavalan” and “Puspa-Visarjan” for the martyrs of 1965 Indo-Pak war. Col Anil Kaul, VrC, while addressing the audience informed how the battle of 1965 culminated into one of the largest tank battles in history.
