Seminar on National Medicine Update '11

A two day seminar on National Medicine Update 2011, “Milestones in Medicine,” was recently held at the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune. It was organised by the Department of Internal Medicine and attended by over 200 delegates from across the country. Commandant AFMC, Air Marshal GS Joneja, VM, highlighted the need for medical professionals to update their domain knowledge to help facilitate better patient care. The seminar was inaugurated by surgeon Vice Admiral KM Suryanarayana VSM, Director General Medical Services, Navy. Also present on the occasion were Prof Mammen Chandy, Director, Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai.
