Maroof Raza is currently the Consulting Editor on Strategic Affairs with Times TV Network, and the anchor of a weekend show on ' THE DEFENDERS' on Sansad TV. And was until lately the anchor of 'Latitude' a weekend TV show on World Affairs. He had earlier also anchored and presented a 24-part series on the Indian armed forces, titled ‘Line of Duty’. An episode from this series, on the Siachen Glacier won an Award in the military documentary section at the Film Festival in Rome in 2005. This TV series has entered the “Limca Book of Records” as India’s first military reality show. His recent tv show on 'Tales of Valour' has won the EMBA media award for the 'Best in Depth- TV series in English' can still be seen on DISCOVERY PLUS Channel. Maroof has written editorials for all the leading English and some Hindi newspapers of India and has lectured extensively in India and abroad on India’s security concerns. He has also authored several articles, essays and books.
