Lt Gen Arun Sahni, PVSM,UYSM,SM,VSM was commissioned in the Regiment of Artillery in 1976. Winner of the ‘Sword of Honour’ and President’s Gold medal on commissioning, he tenanted key command and staff assignments and retired as the GOC-in-C South Western Command after over 40 years of distinguished service. Post retirement, he is a ‘Distinguished Fellow’ with prestigious think tanks in Delhi andsteers an environment policy group. He also mentors start-ups, pro bono, in cyber security, AI and robotics and is a strategic advisor to a leading corporate, for its ‘Make in India’ Defence initiatives.
